MCOL Memberships, HQ Online Subscriptions and MCOL Global Subscriptions

MCOL Memberships, HQ Online (HealthQuest Publishers) Subscriptions and MCOL Global (Global Health Resources) Subscriptions are services of Managed Care On-Line, Inc. (MCOL), and  offer knowledge resources for registered health care business professionals (Members) via the Member Web Sites and Member e-Newsletters. The MCOL Member Privacy Policy explains how we may collect, use and aggregate personal information about you on the Member Web Site and Member registrations, and describes the limitations we have placed on use of your personal information, and the protections we have implemented regarding the privacy of your personal information

Your Acceptance of These Terms

By registering as a Member, you signify your acceptance of all provisions of the MCOL Membership Privacy Policy as set forth herein. If you do not agree to the terms of the MCOL Member Privacy Policy, please do not continue your MCOL Membership. MCOL will refund any paid Membership fees on a pro rate basis as of the date you notify MCOL that you do not agree to these terms. Your continued MCOL Membership following the posting of changes to these policies will mean that you accept those changes. Registration and Collection of Personal Information

Upon registration, Members are asked to supply applicable contact information, Email address, Web Site Username and Password you would like to use, Membership level you desire, and for Paid Members, Payment Information. Username, Passwords and Payment Information are processed by MCOL on a secure basis and are never shared with Third Parties (except for specific secured payment information provided to designated financial transaction institutions and processing services in order to process specific Member payments.)

Limitation on Use of Collected E-Mail Addresses

MCOL will not sell, exchange or otherwise share Member e-mail addresses to any other party or organization without the explicit permission of the user. MCOL reserves the right to transfer title of its e-mail and other contact information to a third party at any time.

Links

The Member Web Site and e-Newsletters contain links to other sites. MCOL is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web Sites, including any sites that may indicate a special relationship or partnership with MCOL, such as co-branded pages and "powered by" relationships. MCOL does not disclose Contact or Payment Information to those responsible for the linked sites. The linked sites, however, may collect personal information from you when you link to their site. This collecting of information is not subject to MCOL's control. To ensure protection of your privacy, always review the privacy policy of the sites you visit by linking from our Member Web Site or e-Newsletters.

Notification of Changes

The MCOL Member Privacy Policy may be revised over time. The most recent update date of this policy will always appear at the beginning of this policy. We do, however, recommend that you read the MCOL Member Privacy Policy each time you use this Web Site.

Correcting and Updating Information 

MCOL also permits you to correct or update contact Information that you have previously provided to us. To do so, contact MCOL indicating the contact information that you wish to be corrected or updated.

E-Mail Opt-Out Procedures

You may always opt-out of receiving applicable future e-mails from us. Unsubscribe instructions are provided in Member e-Newsletters for each applicable Member e-mail distribution list. You may also contact MCOL directly at any time to request opting out of applicable e-mailings. Please note, unsubscribing from one applicable distribution list may not necessarily cancel  subscriptions to other applicable e-mail distribution lists, unless you contact MCOL and request cancellation of all e-mailings.
